God Has Spoken Through Jesus

On many past occasions and in many different ways, God spoke to our fathers through the prophets. But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. Hebrews 1:1-2

Before we can   grow deeply in hearing God speak to us on a day to day level, we must understand what he has already spoken to us through his Son. What he has said through his Son will give us clarity and insight into how he feels toward us and what our relationship is with him. 

What God is saying and what God wills is perfectly revealed through Jesus. He has spoken and we can know what he has said.

“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature…” Hebrews 1:3 

Here’s a few things God has spoken through Jesus for those who believe in him. 

Take these to heart and fellowship with the Lord around: 

• All of our sins are removed. (John 1:29, Acts 3:19 Hebrews 9:26)
• We now have right standing with God (Romans 1:16-17, 2 Corinthians 5:21)
• We are now the dwelling place of God and can always share intimate fellowship with him. (John 14:23)
• We are born again – new people who are completely in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:14-17, 1 Peter 1:23)   
• We are free from sin and death. (Romans 6:18, 8:2)
• We are more than conquerers. (Romans 8:37, 1 Corinthians 15:57)
• We will never be condemned – God justified us. (Romans 8:1, 33)

Make sure you are always starting where Christ finished. We encourage you to spend some time thanking God for all that he has accomplished through Christ and who you are now because of him. We have to be diligent to not see ourselves apart from Christ. He has paid a high price to make us “in him”.
