Living In Him
Living our lives “in him” is something we are deeply passionate about because we know God is deeply passionate about it. After all, of his own will he paid the highest price so we who were far off could be reconciled and be “in him.”
We pray any mindsets causing you to believe you are bound by fear, rejected, not enough, not already free from sin and not already righteous through Christ, would be transformed by the truth.
The former mindsets represent how an orphan might think – they are afraid, rejected and unaware of their true value and worth.
The mindset which makes you free is the mindset that understands – God is for me, I am accepted and I have deep value and worth to him. This is the mind of Christ, who is the Son of God.
God has adopted us as his sons and daughters and given us the mind of Christ. Believe and think on that.
“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15
We want to give the challenge to think of yourself as being “in him” and being his son/daughter.
“I am in them and You are in Me. May they be made completely one, so the world may know You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me.” John 17:23
