Shoes For Our Feet

…we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ… Romans 5:1

God has given us peace with himself and it’s the most beautiful gift that we never could have earned. Though the enemy tries to speak and bring up lies that we are still condemned, the gospel speaks  louder that we have peace with God and he loves us with an unfailing love. 

In order to trump the lies of condemnation, it’s necessary to take every thought captive that rises against the knowledge of Christ and continually set the mind on the peace that he has given. 

Scripture teaches that another piece of God’s armor is the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace that we as believers wear as shoes for our feet. As you intentionally walk with God and receive his gospel, you’ll be ready in every circumstance to overcome with his peace. As you are overcoming situations by living in his peace, you’ll be more and more empowered to…

Overcome the lies of condemnation…

Father, thank you for giving us peace with you. Empower us to live in your peace and focus on you so that we overcome every scheme of the enemy. Thank you for your Holy Spirit who is always with us. Our hearts long to walk in your readiness. In Jesus name, amen.
