Special Prayer

As we’ve been looking into these apostolic prayers, we’ve been encouraged by the power and importance of prayer, as well as how praying for one another is a demonstration of love and unity. We are always praying for you, but today we want to say a special prayer over you. 

We are praying for you to know who God made you to be and how precious you are to him as his beloved child. May you deepen in your understanding of all he accomplished on the cross and with his resurrection! May you grow evermore into the truth that God’s heart burns with an unending love for you and he has amazing plans and purposes for your life. May you be filled with joy as you rest in the truth that he sees you, knows you and deeply cares for you. We pray that you would be filled with God’s peace that surpasses all understanding and remains with you at all times. We are asking God to flood your heart with hope, power and eternal comfort so that you will be strengthened to walk in the newness of life for his glory. 

Father, we thank you for who you are and your incredible majesty and holiness. We love, honor and bless you for all you’ve done through Christ. Your faithfulness never fails and your promises are always true. We lay our lives before you in sweet surrender.
